One Email, Multiple Student Accounts
What Is Email Aliasing?
Email aliasing is a technique that allows you/parents to create multiple email addresses that are tied to a single, primary email account. This means parents can create distinct identifiers for each student but manage them all from a single inbox. For example, if your primary email address is johnsmith@gmail.com, you could create aliases like johnsmith+student1@gmail.com and johnsmith+student2@gmail.com. Anything can be added after the + symbol and any emails sent to these aliases will arrive in your main johnsmith@gmail.com inbox.
How to Use Email Aliasing with Muzie.live
Here's a simple guide on how you can set up email aliases for families with multiple students.
Identify the Primary Email Account: Ask the parent for their primary email address—this will serve as the base for the aliases.
Create Aliases: Use the primary email account to create unique aliases for each student. For example, if the parent's email is parentemail@gmail.com, the aliases could be parentemail+student1@gmail.com and parentemail+student2@gmail.com.
Register on Muzie.live: Use these aliases to invite or create each child's account on Muzie.live. These accounts will receive individual invites, updates, and any relevant notifications.
